In the food industry, the true value of technology often emerges when it is applied beyond its traditional use.
Recently, our team collaborated with a major player in the seafood sector on a highly specific challenge: to industrialize a new product with a very distinctive shape made from a soft mass, ensuring process stability, repeatability and high production volumes.
This was not a standard application. It required technological flexibility, real customer focus and a willingness to invest in R&D.
The challenge
Soft masses are inherently difficult to process, especially when the final product must maintain a defined and recognizable geometry.

The combination of a continuous vacuum filler and a Fuerpla diaphragm forming device DN-50, supported by a dedicated electronic and process configuration, resulted in a tailor-made solution fully aligned with the product requirements.
